Frequently Asked Questions

Are there additional costs in installing systems (phpBB, phpNuke etc.)
No. The standard monthly flat rate pays for the base hosting deal and any of the systems listed. We will pre-install the system(s) of your choice and can provide limited configuration such as installing themes or skins. Any further modifications however are your own responsibility. We can, however, quote you for web design services if you require significant customisation.

Can I alter my pre-installed packages myself?
After we have set up your account and installed the packages that you requested you are free to modify, add and remove the installation as and how you wish.

What sort of support do you offer?
We offer an online ticket based support system for general website issues such as uploading your files, domain name enquiries, etc. We can also advise you regarding the administration of the pre-installed packages. We cannot however help out with coding issues relating to the pre-installed or your own packages. This should rarely be a problem as there is a wealth of community and peer support options available on the web that we can point you towards.

What about domain name registration?
Specify the domain name you require in the signup process and, if neccessary, we will register it for you. If you already own the domain and wish to transfer it over to your new account, enter the name in the signup process anyway and we will initiate the transfer.

Will you keep backups of my data?
Backing up of your code, HTML, databases and other content is you own responsibility. Please read our terms & conditions to find out more about your responsibilities.

Are there any restrictions in the type of content I can serve?
